Community

First, you found the podcast. Now, you’ve found community.

Mayhem Daughters is a trauma-informed community of healing, connection, and growth. It’s rooted in the podcast and expanded through real-time support.

Who belongs here? You do.

When I first created Mayhem, I named this space for daughters of narcissistic mothers. But not every mother fits that label. Some are emotionally limited in quieter, more complex ways. Others are louder. They are more disruptive, more cruel, and even outright criminal.

Whatever shape your mother wound takes, your story matters. Your pain is real. And you belong here. Inside Mayhem, we make space for all of it.

About Heather Gray, LICSW

Heather Gray is a licensed therapist and narcissistic abuse recovery expert who has been supporting girls and women with complicated mother dynamics since the very beginning of her career in ’99, long before she had the language for what this was. It wasn’t until 2023 that she recognized: this is the work she’s meant to do.

Through podcast conversations, group support, and community connection, she offers a grounded, relational path to healing—where self-trust, nervous system regulation, and personal agency are at the heart of it all.

Trauma wires us for protection. Healing wires us for connection.
