Join Us Inside of Mayhem Daughters

A therapeutic online community for daughters of narcissistic or emotionally limited mothers.

You’ve done so much of this on your own.

You’ve tried to make sense of what happened, hold it all together, and heal without a map. Maybe you’ve listened to podcasts, read the books, gone to therapy, or spent years trying to understand your mother. And while insight matters, healing often begins to shift when you’re no longer doing it alone.

That’s what Mayhem Daughters is for.

What Mayhem Daughters Is

This is a private online community for daughters of narcissistic, emotionally immature, or otherwise harmful mothers. It’s where you gather to make sense of what happened, support each other in healing, and build lives that reflect who you are, not who you were told to be.

What it isn't.

It’s not social media. There are no trolls, no algorithms, and no pressure to perform. Just real women, healing together, on your own terms.

This is a space where:

  • You don’t have to shrink or over-explain
  • You’re allowed to have needs, boundaries, and questions
  • You can show up exactly as you are: skeptical, scared, hopeful, raw

This isn’t a forum. It’s not a place to scroll and disappear. It’s a holding space. A therapeutic container. A place to land when you’re ready to move forward, not just talk about where you’ve been.

What You’ll Find Inside

I’ve designed Mayhem to meet daughters where they are, with thoughtful structure, meaningful connection, and opportunities to engage with their healing in real time, alongside women who understand.

Thoughtful Spaces

We’ve divided the community into distinct spaces (like Doing the Work, The Common Room, and Learning to Hold Joy) so you can engage at your own pace, without feeling overwhelmed.

Support Between Sessions

Whether you’re in therapy or not, the real work happens between appointments. This space supports you in those in-between moments, where self-trust is built and old stories are gently challenged.

A Community of Daughters

Some are no contact. Some are trying to stay in relationship. Some are grieving mothers who’ve passed. Some are brand new to the term “narcissistic mother.” Others have been walking this path for years. All are welcome. All are met with care.

Warm, Boundaried Engagement

Members are encouraged to witness more than they process, honor privacy, and leave behind the chaos of trauma-dumping culture. This is a space where we practice emotional safety together.

Thursday Night Mayhem

3:30- 5:00pm PST
Join me live for a facilitated conversation where we explore healing, practice new patterns, and connect with other daughters in real time. Included with your Mayhem membership, these gatherings bring the work out of your head and into relationship.

As the trauma-trained therapist who leads this space, I hold the clinical frame so you can focus on showing up as you. I facilitate Thursday Night Mayhem, guide the direction of the community, and offer support through our Ask Heather space. That responsibility is sacred, and I carry it with deep care, clarity, and love for this community.

Testimonials

From Mayhem Members

I started the long journey of my own healing and along the way I discovered the MM podcast. I was a regular listener but when I decided to join the MD online group I didn’t expect to have an instant connection with a group of women that were technically strangers. I have never had more in common with a group of women and for the first time I feel like a part of myself has the ability to heal out in the daylight, free of explanation, justification or judgement. I am so grateful to this group for all it has given me but also the bonds I will have because of it. Probably one of the best things I have given myself ever.

One thing I found here that I haven’t found anywhere else is that you all understand. Even though our experiences may differ a little, all of us can relate. I have never felt so validated. Normally when I have tried to explain my experiences I received the typical response that “she is your mom, she’s not perfect, she loves you, it couldn’t have been that bad”, or my favorite from a friend – “see your mom isn’t that bad compared to what my mom did to me”. It is bittersweet knowing you understand.

I find the spaces you have built for Mayhem Daughters so powerful: not only do they increase my understanding of myself and my own behavior – with too many “A ha” moments to count! – but more importantly, you provide practical and doable tips on how to do things differently. And THEN, you provide a safe space where we can try new and terrifying-to-us things, blunder about, make mistakes, take left turns at – all while being held, seen, supported, and loved. It’s this magical combination of knowledge and practice that makes these spaces so powerful.

I have had a difficult relationship with my mother my entire life. I knew nothing about Narcissistic people or the psychology of it. I just always knew she didn’t like me. It affected all aspects of my personality and behavior. I wish I would have found Heather earlier. I have been in therapy my whole adult life. The community that Heather has formed and fostered is invaluable. I anticipate her podcast every week. I am so grateful I stumbled upon this community. It has helped to inspire and influence me. Thank you.

If you are searching for understanding and clarity about the effects of narcissistic abuse and are desperate for a soft, safe place to land, to learn and heal and feel seen… then you’ve found the right place. Heather is not only an amazingly insightful and gifted therapist, she is also an incredibly warm-hearted, compassionate and authentic human being. Here you can feel safe despite your anxiety, be seen despite feeling so small, and you will always be heard, believed and supported. I truly feel my deepest mother wounds are slowly beginning to heal and I can’t thank Heather enough for helping to light the way.

Why We’re Here

We are not here just to tell our stories. We are here to understand them, to honor them, and to decide what comes next. We are here to support each other, not just to survive, but to grow.

This is a space where:

  • We practice new patterns
  • We show up messy, honest, and brave
  • We stop trying to heal alone

You Might Be Wondering…

Is this therapy?

No, this is not therapy, and it’s not a replacement for it.

Mayhem Daughters is a therapeutic peer community facilitated by a trauma-trained therapist (that’s me, Heather!), but it is not clinical treatment. There are no diagnoses, no documentation, and no treatment plans…just real support in real time, grounded in care, clarity, and nervous system safety.

How much does it cost to join?

Membership is $39.99/month. No long-term commitment—you can cancel anytime. But this isn’t just a subscription. You’re not paying for content. You’re investing in a healing intervention.

Mayhem Daughters is a trauma-informed therapeutic community, designed to support your nervous system, your self-trust, and your growth. This space offers more than insight. It offers integration. Your membership helps sustain the structure, safety, and guidance that make this possible. And you’re not doing it alone. You’re walking alongside others who are showing up for themselves too.

Do I have to share?

Nope. You’ll always be invited to participate but never forced or pressured. That said, this is an active space, not a passive one. Lurking as your default setting won’t give you what you came for. Healing happens through connection, and connection asks us to show up.

You can start small. A comment. A moment of resonance. A “me too.” This is a space where you don’t have to be perfect to belong. You just have to be willing to step in, even if it’s with shaky hands.

What if I don’t know how to be in community?

That makes sense. Many daughters have never been part of a safe, supportive group where they could be themselves. Your nervous system might be on high alert, waiting to be judged, ignored, or hurt. That’s trauma brain doing its job. But this space is built to hold you while you practice something different: connection that doesn’t cost you your peace.

You’ll be gently guided, never rushed. And you’ll find your way at your own pace, with others who truly get it.
