Weekly Support Group for Daughters of Narcissistic or Emotionally Limited Mothers

A weekly space for daughters of narcissistic and emotionally limited mothers to connect, reflect, and heal alongside women who understand.

Tuesday Group is for daughters who are actively engaged in their healing and looking for connection, perspective, and support from women who understand.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up.

What Group Is Like

Each session is live, online, and trauma-informed.

We meet face-to-face on Zoom, and each member attends on camera using first names only. You’re never required to share, but you’ll always be invited to. You can let the group know whether you want to be witnessed or receive support, and I help facilitate that process with care and clarity.

I guide the conversation, offer clinical insight, and create space for daughters to connect, reflect, and practice healing in real time. Together, we make sense of what happened, challenge old patterns, and learn what it feels like to stop carrying it all alone.

Tuesday Group is best suited for daughters who are looking for an ongoing healing community rather than occasional support. The daughters in this space are actively engaged in their healing, and many of the conversations build on ideas and language introduced in the podcast. To help maintain a shared foundation and support the group experience, all new members are required to complete the Start Here series (Episodes 1–8) of the Mother Mayhem podcast before joining.

Please Note

This is not group therapy. While I’m a trauma-informed therapist, these are therapeutic peer support groups, not clinical treatment. That means no diagnosis, no treatment plans, and no documentation… just real-time support, facilitated with care.

In group, we speak to the challenges of:

Navigating a no contact or low contact relationship with your mother

Staying in complex relationships with mothers who still cause harm

Grieving mothers who have passed without ever repairing the rift

Managing emotionally immature, narcissistic, or even sociopathic mothers

What to Expect

  • A structured, facilitated group led by me, Heather Gray, trauma-informed therapist and host of the Mother Mayhem podcast.
  • A balance of clinical insight, peer connection, and real-time support.
  • A community where you don’t have to explain everything before you can be understood.

When We Meet

Tuesdays 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm PST

What It Costs

$35 USD per session

Tuesday Group is not intended to be a drop-in space. While attendance is flexible, the group works best when members participate consistently enough to build relationships, develop trust, and become part of the community over time.

Nervous? Curious?

Let’s Make This Less Scary.

Will I be required to talk?

Never. You’ll always be invited to participate, but you’re welcome to listen and observe if that feels right. You’ll still benefit just by being in the room.

What if I’m afraid of being overwhelmed or retraumatized?

That’s completely understandable. Group is structured and paced with emotional safety in mind. We don’t allow trauma dumping or unsafe dynamics. I guide the conversation so it stays grounded, and many daughters find their nervous systems settle over time simply by being present.

What if I don’t know what kind of mother I had?

You don’t need to name it perfectly. If your relationship with your mother left you doubting yourself, overfunctioning, or wondering if you’re crazy—you’re in the right place.

How many people are in each group?

Each group is capped at 25 participants to protect intimacy and emotional safety. That allows for meaningful connection, rich conversation, and reflection—without overwhelming anyone. You won’t be lost in a sea of faces. You also never have to speak unless you want to.

Can I come if I’m still in contact with my mom? Or if she’s passed away?

Yes. Group is for all daughters, whether you’re no contact, low contact, still in relationship, or grieving. We hold space for the complexity of every path.

Do I have to come every week?

No. Life happens, and no one is expected to attend every week.

That said, Tuesday Group is designed for daughters who are looking for an ongoing healing community rather than occasional support. The safety, trust, and connection that make this group meaningful are built over time through regular participation.

While we always welcome new daughters into the space, this is not intended to be a drop-in group. The women who benefit most are those who attend consistently enough to build relationships, become part of the community, and allow the group to become part of their healing process.

How do I sign up?

You can reserve your spot through the link below. Each session is $35 and lasts 90 minutes on Zoom.

Come as you are. Whether it’s your first step or your next step, there’s space for you here.

Testimonials

From Group Members

I found Heather’s podcast in February of 2025 and her words, as well as the stories and resilience of the daughters in each episode, were like a salve on my very deep wounds. I kept hearing her mention the Mother Mayhem support group at the end of the episodes and it took some time to work up the courage to attend. If you’re like me and you’re nervous about joining, let me tell you that joining this group was one of the best things I have ever done. You’ll enter a room full of resilient, wise, hilarious, authentic and incredibly kind women who already believe your story the moment you enter. The love I feel every Tuesday from people all over the world who “just get it” when it comes to the damage from a mother wound, is not something I can put into words but is something I encourage every daughter to come and experience for herself.

Joining Tuesday group for Daughters of emotionally limited and narcissistic mothers has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Before joining, I often felt alone in my experiences and confused by the emotional patterns that had shaped so much of my life. Through the support of the group and the guidance of our incredible therapist, Heather, I’ve learned to set healthy boundaries, validate my own emotions, and begin to rewire the ways I see myself and my relationships. Each week, I feel seen, understood, and supported, not just by Heather, but by the other amazing women in the group who share this journey. It has helped me break cycles I didn’t even fully understand before and has given me tools that I now carry with me every day. If you’re even slightly considering joining, I truly can’t recommend it enough.

Heather and the community of Daughters has helped me change the way I think about my relationships – not only with my mother, but with my children, friends, and myself. Finding the Mother Mayhem podcast was a lifeline for me, but the real game changer came after months of listening, when I took the leap and started joining Group. What an incredible experience it has been to meet other daughters, find understanding and support in a safe place, and learn from the struggles and strengths of the incredible women in this community. The online community and group made me realize that I’m not alone. That I can believe my truth. And that I can build a more confident, healthier and authentic life – along side women who are also doing the work of healing.

Before I joined, I worried I didn’t belong; that my “trauma” either wasn’t real, or wasn’t as bad as others, or wasn’t bad enough. I was confused about whether and to what extent my mom is narcissistic, despite my therapist telling me. And those things are still true, but here at Mayhem, I found people who are so much like me, and I think, the gift another daughter gave me in group sums it up, she said “we will believe you until you can”. I didn’t know how much I needed Mayhem until I joined and now it’s become an important part of my life and my healing. Heather, there aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am to you for creating this community, and for pouring your heart and time into each one of us. You and Mayhem have become such an anchor for me. Thank you

I started listening to the podcast about a year ago, and for the first time things made sense. From Heather, I learned why I am the way I am, I felt seen and understood. I was gaining knowledge and insight. I wasn’t imagining this trauma, it’s real. Then, when Heather started Tuesday Group, I jumped at the chance to start my healing journey with those that already believed me and understood me. Heather is kind, patient, supportive and so knowledgeable. Then, Heather started the online community and it couldn’t be more supportive. It’s a place for us all to share, and we share more than the pain, we share joys too. Our mantra is you belong here…. we are a community of women around the world who are on this healing journey together. And we are in very capable hands.

Heather creates a safe space for us daughters of Mayhem to be vulnerable, support and heal one another while also doing the same things for ourselves. The amount of attention, guidance, knowledge and wisdom she packs into each session is life shifting… dare I say life changing. I believe, as she has taught us, we heal together in group around the world together. So grateful to have found this group.
